MoU signing between Premier Integrated Labs (PIL) and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA): Advancing Knowledge and Fostering Community Well-being through Collaborative Excellence On the 9th of January 2024, Premier Integrated Labs (PIL) celebrated the collaboration with Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) with a commitment to advancing knowledge. The collaboration aims for joint research in areas like Health Economics, Genomics, Molecular Cancer, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Immunology, Cytology, Genomics, and Big Data Analytics. Beyond organizational ties, PIL’s commitment extends to providing Health Sciences training for UniSZA students.

Pantai Premier Pathology Gleneagles @ Kota Kinabalu has recently made history by becoming the first and only private medical laboratory in East Malaysia to receive the MS ISO 15189 accreditation. Established in 2015, Pantai Premier Pathology @ Gleneagles Kota Kinabalu is a private medical laboratory that provides a wide range of medical testing services to the local community. In 2020, the lab began its journey towards accreditation to achieve the highest quality and safety standards. After a rigorous evaluation process, the lab was awarded the MS ISO 15189 accreditation, effective from 3rd March 2023.

The MS ISO 15189 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for quality and competence in medical laboratories. It covers all aspects of laboratory operations, including management, technical competence, personnel, equipment, and quality control.
