Achievement
Prof. Dr. Noraidah graduated from the Royal College of Dublin, Ireland in 1986 with MBBCh. BAO, LRCP & SI. She then pursued her studies in Master of Pathology (MPath) in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1994. In 2007, she obtained D.Phil. (Oxon) from the University of Oxford.
Currently, Prof. Dr. Noraidah is a Visiting Consultant Pathologist (Histo and cytopathology) at Pantai Premier Pathology. Prof. Dr. Noraidah also leads the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine (UKM) since 2013. Previously in 1986, she served Hospital Kuala Lumpur as a House Officer and Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban as a Medical Officer in 1987. Her interest in academic started in 1990 as a Trainee Lecturer in Faculty of Medicine, UKM. After obtaining her Master in Pathology in 1994, she served few government hospitals as an Anatomical Pathologist. Her wide interest has brought her to have a clinical attachment in Haematopathology, John Radcliffe Hospital in the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. In 2007, she completed her PhD thesis in Immunogenotypic studies of human lymphomas.
Her extensive experiences include:
- Co-Chairperson (Education Committee), College of Pathologists AM (Malaysia).
- Invited Lecturer for various local & international scientific symposiums and conferences.
- External Examiners for research studies in several universities and organiser of Professional courses & meetings.
- Vetting Panel for research proposals for MAKNA Cancer Research Awards and Research Grants by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia.
- Life member of College of Pathologists Academy of Medicine • Life Member of Royal College of Surgeon in Ireland Alumni
- Life member of University of Oxford Alumni • Member of European Association of Haematopathology
Till now, Prof. Dr. Noraidah has published more than 40 research publications, presenting of more than 27 studies and review of more than 9 scientific manuscripts.
Achievement
- Winner of Dr. Ranjeet Bhagwan Singh Award for 2004/2005 (Book Prize for Best Student of Pathology)
- Achieved MS ISO 15189 certification status for Anatomical Pathology (Histopathology and Cytopathology (2007 till present)
- Developed in-house training program for BP Clinical Lab and trained 5 cyto-technologists
- Achieved double digit growth for Histopathology workload.

Achievement
Dr. Ahmad Toha Samsudin graduated with MD from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1985 and obtained his Master degree in Medical Pathology from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1996. In 2008, Dr. Ahmad Toha has obtained his Fellowship training on Lymphoreticular pathology from Oxford University (John Redcliffe Hospital), United Kingdom.
As a Pathologist, Dr. Ahmad Toha has been posted to several government hospitals in Malaysia such as
- Hospital USM, Hospital Ipoh, Hospital Teluk Intan, and National Blood Service Centre as a Medical Officer in Pediatric Department.
- Kota Bahru Hospital as a Medical Officer in Pathology Department.
- Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Sarawak General Hospital, Hospital Ipoh and Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Consultant Pathologist.
Currently, Dr. Ahmad Toha holds a position as the Consultant Pathologist and Head of Pathology Department in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu. His 15 years extensive experience in diagnostics services has brought him to further enhance his skills in hematopathology and lymphoreticular pathology. He also receives referral cases from all over government and private hospitals in Malaysia as well as research institutions.
Dr. Ahmad Toha is also actively involved in teaching and research at the university. He is the honorary lecturer to few established medical faculty such as Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He actively involved in many conferences, forum and seminars at national and international level. He is also a member of Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH).
Achievement
Dr. Julia Munchar has 13 years of working experience as an Anatomic Pathologists. She is currently a Consultant Pathologist in a private laboratory in Malaysia. Her area of expertise includes both Histopathology & Cytopathology with extensive experience in cytopathology.
She obtained her MBBS from University of Malaya in 1992 and later attained her Master in Anatomic Pathology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1999. Subsequently, she started her professional career as a Lecturer and Pathologist in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She was also attended an extensive Gynaecological Pathology Course at the Victorian Cytology Service in Victoria, Australia in 2001.
Dr. Julia was the Winner of the Becton Dickinson Award for best oral presentation – Awarded by the Malaysian Society of Pathologist at the 23rd Annual General & Scientific Meeting in 1998. Currently, she is a Member of the International Academy of Cytology and a Member of the College of Pathologist, Academy of Medicine Malaysia since 2001.
