Workshops to maintain the highest quality standards and ensuring compliance
Pantai Premier Pathology’s commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring compliance with best practices in the industry was recently demonstrated through two successful workshops held in the first quarter of 2023 by the Quality, Standards & Accreditation Department.
The first event was a highly informative Quality Control Workshop that took place on the 6th and 7th of March 2023 at Dewan Pantai, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. This workshop was targeted at Technical Managers and Quality Managers, and aimed to provide them with the latest updates on Quality Control policies and procedures, as well as insights into future trends in quality management. The ultimate goal was to enhance the performance and competency of the attendees on Quality Control-related matters, thereby ensuring their independent compliance with policy and procedures.
The second event was a Root Cause Analysis Workshop that was held on 21 February 2023 at the Auditorium, Level 9, PHKL. Dr. Lisa Maria Schwanke, Assistant Vice President, Medical Affairs and Quality, IHH MY, conducted the workshop, which was attended by 38 Pantai Premier Pathology staff members from various branches and 10 staff members from Medical Affairs and Quality, IHH MY. The objectives of this workshop were to highlight the importance of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equip attendees with the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct effective RCA using appropriate tools and methodologies. The workshop was designed to refresh the participants’ understanding of the methodology and guide them in the proper use of the tools.
